These terms explain the relationship between you and U&I when you create an account, match, message, plan dates, or use our safety and AI-assisted features.
These Terms of Service are a contract between you and U&I. By creating an account, accessing the app, using the website, matching, messaging, or using any U&I feature, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, you must not use U&I. We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you before or when the change takes effect.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials secure. You agree that:
U&I provides tools for discovery, matching, messaging, date invitations, safety check-ins, venue discovery, and related features. We do not guarantee that you will receive matches, messages, dates, compatibility outcomes, venue availability, vouchers, or relationship results.
You are responsible for your interactions with other users online and offline. Use judgment when sharing personal information, meeting someone, choosing a venue, arranging transport, or continuing communication outside U&I.
U&I may offer AI-assisted features such as tone checks, icebreakers, private reply suggestions, compatibility explanations, moderation support, and safety-related detection. These tools are provided to support user experience and safety, but they may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable.
You agree not to use U&I to:
You own the content you submit to U&I, subject to any rights owned by others. You grant U&I a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, moderate, and process your content as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service.
You represent that you have the rights needed to upload your photos, messages, profile details, and other content. We may remove content that violates these terms, our policies, user safety, legal requirements, or product integrity.
Safety tools such as SOS, safety circles, date check-ins, reports, and distress phrase detection are designed to help users act faster in risky situations. They are not a substitute for emergency services.
If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. U&I cannot guarantee that alerts, messages, location sharing, SMS, email, push notifications, or third-party services will be delivered instantly or at all.
You are responsible for adding accurate trusted-contact details, using check-ins responsibly, and making safe decisions about where and when to meet.
We may investigate content, reports, account behavior, verification signals, safety events, and technical activity. Where appropriate, we may remove content, limit visibility, disable features, issue warnings, suspend accounts, ban accounts, preserve records, or contact relevant authorities.
We are not required to disclose every enforcement signal or internal risk model, especially where doing so could compromise user safety, anti-abuse work, or platform security.
U&I may integrate with social verification providers, cloud services, push notification systems, SMS and email providers, AI providers, maps, venue partners, and payment or voucher providers where available. Third-party services may have their own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for third-party platforms, venues, transportation, social providers, or user conduct outside U&I.
We may change, suspend, remove, or limit features at any time. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, network failures, third-party outages, security incidents, or operational issues. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
U&I is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and safety outcomes.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, U&I will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, personal interactions, offline meetings, user conduct, third-party conduct, or events outside our reasonable control.
You may stop using U&I or delete your account at any time. See our account deletion instructions. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these terms, created risk, harmed users, disrupted the service, or exposed U&I to legal or security issues.
