Account deletion

Delete your U&I account.

You can permanently delete your account and associated data in the app, or request help by email if you cannot access your account.

Delete in the app

This is the fastest way to permanently delete your U&I account.

Open the U&I app and log in.
Go to Profile, then Settings.
Open the account controls and choose Delete Account.
Confirm the deletion phrase shown in the app. Deletion starts immediately and you are signed out.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email us from the address registered to your account.

Subject: Account Deletion Request

Include: the email address or phone number on your U&I account.

We verify that the request comes from the account owner, then process the deletion. You will receive confirmation when the request is completed.

What gets deleted

Your account, profile, preferences, quiz result, likes, and discovery history.
Photos, imported provider media, voice notes, and other uploaded media.
Matches, conversations, reactions, replies, and message metadata where deletion rules allow.
Safety circle contacts, check-in history, device push tokens, and optional social verification records.
Most support and product data directly tied to your active account.

What may be retained

Deletion is permanent. Matches, conversations, photos, and profile data cannot be restored after deletion is complete. If you only need a break, pause discovery instead.

Export before deleting

If you want a copy of your data, request an export before deleting your account. After deletion is complete, we may no longer be able to provide an account export.
